SUPERIOR CARE TO EXPAND ACROSS KENT

SUPERIOR CARE TO EXPAND ACROSS KENT

Superior Care has announced plans to expand across Kent, with new offices in Dartford, Ashford and Ramsgate creating a total of 270 new jobs.

Superior Care is a Living Wage care provider and is launching a recruitment drive aimed at attracting registered nurses, support workers, healthcare students and office staff to fill the new roles. The new premises are set to open throughout 2015, growing Superior Care’s existing network of offices in Whitstable, Maidstone and Folkestone, which employ almost 400 people at present.

The expansion will meet increased demand for Superior Care’s high-quality services, which include bespoke specialist care for adults and children living with complex health conditions in their own homes, as well as support for older people and those with learning and physical disabilities.

Stewart Thorp, Superior Care’s Chief Executive, said: “This is a very exciting time for us – last year we supported more than 700 clients and provided 300,000 hours of care, and the current demand for our services means this will only grow in the future. We’re keen to hear from dedicated, motivated healthcare professionals who can help us build on our success and provide our clients with the exceptional care they deserve.

“At Superior Care we feel it is particularly important that clients are supported by local carers from within their own community. Our planned expansion will help us to do this, as well as creating jobs across the county.”

In addition to the Living Wage, Superior Care offers a host of benefits for staff, including flexible hours, internal and external training placements, 28 days paid holiday each year (pro-rata) and a company pension.
