Care group backs Think Local campaign

A major national campaign committed to transforming health and care through community-based help is being supported by North West-based care group, Premier Care. 

Think Local Act Personal (TLAP) is a national partnership that provides advice for those with care and support needs, carers and family members. More than 30 organisations are involved in the project, including central and local government, the NHS and providers of care.

Jay Dutson, registered manager for Premier Care Wirral, said: “We put people at the centre of everything we do and we support this campaign as part of that. Ultimately, this is about helping people to lead better lives, not just changing systems and processes.

He added: “As an organisation committed to the communities in which we work, the care provided should be individual to all, and should fit with the needs of the person.”
