Danshell Adds Strategic Advisor To Board
Published on 02/09/2014
Danshell, a provider of adolescent and adult mental health and learning difficulties services in the UK, has announced that Steve Page is joining its Board as a Strategic Advisor.
Steve started his career in the NHS and was the first CEO of Oxleas NHS Trust (mental health and learning difficulties in Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley) from 1993. The Trust trebled in size and won a number of national awards for quality and innovation during his tenure.
Steve held senior positions at Priory Healthcare, including the managing director post, and Nestor plc before becoming the founding CEO of Acorn Care and Education, where he built the company from just two Special Educational Needs schools into a leading children’s services provider with 12 schools for children with autism, social, behavioural, emotional and other learning difficulties. He has an MBA from London Business School, and is married with two grown up children.
Efi Hershkovitz, CEO of Danshell, said: “Steve brings a wealth of expertise to Danshell. His appointment will support the company with its strategic goals as we continue to provide high quality treatment, care and support to service users and their families in an ever-changing market.
“It also reinforces to commissioners, regulators and stakeholders, the level of commitment to providing innovative, safe, quality services and bringing in the very best people to help deliver them and build on the company’s position within the market.”
