Healthcare Management Solutions has launched a partnership with a wellbeing expert to support staff who are working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The collaboration with coach, mentor and physical trainer Alex Myers has seen the launch of HCMS90 – a three-month programme to help, support and encourage staff to achieve personal goals, maintain their physical and mental fitness, and keep up their energy levels.

The programme will be delivered through video conferencing facility Zoom and the company’s intranet portal.

Staff’s all-round wellbeing is core to HCMS’s philosophy, and it is determined to help employees adapt to working from home, which is becoming the norm for a large part of the UK’s workforce.

Vicky Cutter, HCMS HR Director, said: “While some people have thrived in a home office situation, others miss the camaraderie of working alongside colleagues and can find it lonely and isolating.

“Therefore, it is important that we put measures in place to ensure that the HCMS team spirit is maintained even though we all are working remotely.

“Engaging Alex’s skills and expertise to launch HCMS9 means everyone can stay connected and achieve some personal goals.

“As well as helping maintain staff physical and mental wellbeing, it should also be energising and lot of fun.”

Alex Myers said: “Energy and motivation are generated when you have something exciting that challenges you.

“My aim whilst working with HCMS is to bring that challenge to the team alongside the support and accountability needed to ensure each individual feels like they are making progress.

“The work is worth doing when you start seeing the results.”
