STAR-STUDDED JUDGING PANEL FOR HOMECARE’S GOT TALENT

Star-studded judging panel revealed for Homecare’s Got Talent

The spotlight is officially on; the entries are in – and now the judging begins. Homecare’s Got Talent (HCGT) has unveiled its all-star judging panel, bringing together familiar faces from music, TV and media to help celebrate the unsung heroes of the care sector. With hundreds of incredible auditions submitted by care workers across the country, the stage is now set for the live semi-finals in London, Manchester on 8th and 9th July.

Returning to the panel are three favourites from last year’s competition: Cheryl Baker and Jay Aston of Eurovision legends Bucks Fizz, and Matt Jameson, known for his appearance in Married at First Sight. They are joined by a fresh line-up of star talent including Saffron from Britpop band Republica, John Partridge from EastEnders, Kuill from The Voice UK, Sameena Ali-Khan from ITV News and BBC Radio’s Becky Measures.

Created to celebrate the creativity and individuality of the country’s care workforce, HCGT has become a standout event in the sector calendar – bringing together care professionals, industry leaders and the wider public in a joyful, unifying celebration.

This year, it is supported by an impressive collective of homecare brands: Visiting Angels, Radfield Home Care, Home Instead, Sylvian Care, Apollo Care, Care Your Way, City & County Healthcare Group, Bluebird Care, Caremark, Heritage Healthcare, Percurra, Walfinch, Guardian Angel Carers, SureCare, Clarity Homecare, Right at Home and Promedica24.

Headline sponsors Prezzee are supporting the event alongside Jelly Drops – Visiting Angels’ hydration partner – Lottie, Domus, Bullerwell Insurance, SM92, Whzan and the AA. Thanks to their support, all proceeds from the final will be donated to the Care Workers’ Charity.

Dan Archer, UK CEO of Visiting Angels and founder of HCGT, said: “We’re proud to have such a diverse and well-respected judging panel on board this year. These are people who understand the power of performance – and who recognise the value of the people behind our care sector. HCGT was created to spotlight the often-overlooked creativity and character of care professionals. To have so many industry voices and high-profile names backing that message is a powerful thing.”

The grand finale will take place at Birmingham’s Crescent Theatre on 14th August – a night set to showcase not just performances, but pride, passion and the power of care.
