Choice to open Hampshire care home for adults with learning disabilities
Specialist care provider Choice Care Group has revealed that it will be opening a new care home in Hampshire in April.

Boasting eight en suite bedrooms and three separate self-contained annexes, Compton House – located in Compton near Winchester – is for male and female adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, including diagnoses of personality disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and a history of risk to themselves or others.

The detached care home sits in grounds of around 2.5 acres and is located about two miles south of Winchester and four miles north of Eastleigh; adjacent to the M3 motorway.

Compton House formerly served as a care home but required modernising. Building work started in November 2014 and the refurbished home is planned to open in April 2015, subject to Care Quality Commission registration.

Choice Care Group provides residential support for adults across care homes in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire.
