TRINITY HOMECARE DEMENTIA TRAINING LEADERS RECOGNISED AT NATIONAL AWARDS

Trinity Homecare dementia training leaders recognised at national Dementia Care Awards

Trinity Homecare is celebrating national recognition for two of its dementia training leaders after Cheralyn Toye and Emma Bateman were named finalists in the Dementia Trainer and Workforce Development Award category at the Dementia Care Awards 2026.

The prestigious awards recognise individuals and organisations making a significant difference to the lives of people living with dementia and their families. Cheralyn and Emma were shortlisted among leading dementia care professionals from across the UK in recognition of their contribution to dementia education and workforce development.

Their nomination reflects the vital role specialist training plays in helping care professionals deliver compassionate, person-centred support to people living with dementia in their own homes.

At Trinity Homecare, Cheralyn and Emma have helped develop and deliver dementia-focused learning programmes designed to equip care teams with the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed to support clients and families through every stage of their dementia journey. Their approach combines evidence-based learning with real-world scenarios, helping care professionals better understand the individual needs of people living with dementia while building meaningful relationships that promote dignity, independence and quality of life.

Commenting on the recognition, Cheralyn and Emma said: "Being named finalists is both an incredible honour and a proud moment for us. It reflects not only what we have accomplished together, but also the collaboration, support and commitment of colleagues across the organisation who share our passion for delivering outstanding care."

As the number of people living with dementia continues to rise across the UK, the need for highly skilled and confident care professionals has never been greater. Trinity Homecare believes that investing in workforce development is essential to ensuring people can continue to live safely, comfortably and independently in their own homes for as long as possible.
